With more than five thousand pieces, Yumoto Kōichi's collection is the largest in Japan in relation to yōkai. It includes an incredible amount of objects from the Edo period (16th-19th century) to the present day, such as paintings, woodblock prints and paintings, emaki, ceramics, kimono, magazines, children's toys, games society, and much more. This collection was donated in 2019 to the Yumoto Kōichi Memorial Japan Yōkai Museum (Myoshi Mononoke Museum), in the city of Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture.
