Description
Furikake is a mixture of seaweed and sesame, roasted and salted, reduced to powder. It was invented during the Second World War to enhance the rice bowl of Japanese sailors. Very popular in Japan, it comes in many different flavors.This organic furikake is produced by our sesame producer with its roasted sesame in soy sauce, sea lettuce andyuzu, which brings refreshing notes. It is additive-free.

Flavor: This furikake has a sweet flavor of toasted sesame and a tangy touch of yuzu. The soy sauce brings a salty and umami note, creating a harmonious balance with the other flavors.
Use: Furikake brings flavor and texture to many dishes. Traditionally, it is eaten with rice, rice balls but it will also be delicious with salads or fish and meat dishes. It goes well with pasta such as udon. You can also use it to prepare a tuna tataki, covering the fish with the furikake to form a thin and tasty crust.
