Preparation advice
Immerse the dried wakame algae in cold water and leave them for 4 to 6 minutes then drain them. Add them to soup or salad. Be careful the algae will triple in volume.

Wakame seaweed is the essential ingredient (along with tofu) in miso soup and most salads, rich in fiber and calcium.
Sold dry, it must be rehydrated before consumption.
