Description
Yuzushu literally means “yuzu alcohol” in Japanese. The Sea Salt Yuzushu
is produced by the Kitajima brewery on a sake base, to which are
added fresh yuzu juice and sea salt.
Founded in 1805 in Hari Village, Shiga Prefecture, the distillery has
recognized expertise in premium sake for over 200 years.
The combination of sake, fresh Japanese yuzu juice and sea salt creates a drink
remarkable with sweet and tangy notes.
To be enjoyed neat on ice, or with a tonic, or Japanese style with hot water.
TASTING NOTES:
DRESS : Shiny gold.
NOSE: Intense notes of fresh yuzu & ripe.
MOUTH: Sweet & tangy. The touch of sea salt softens the acidity
and brings out the flavor of yuzu.
FINAL: Smooth and fresh.
