Description
This cast iron bell is handcrafted by the Iwachu company in Morioka, Japan. It is traditionally placed on the edges of the roofs of temples or houses in order to ward off evil spirits and activate the universal energy qi, which is favorable. In the stifling heat of the Japanese summer, the sound of these little bells is refreshing. A wish or poem is often written on the weathervane so that the wind carries it and it comes true. You can hang your bell inside the house next to a door or window or outside in the garden or on the terrace. The color purple brings the stability of blue and the energy of red; it symbolizes power and also mystery.
