Description
This elegant wooden accessory is used as a pocket container for zukoh incense powder (ref. 717).
How to use it?
Unscrew the top cap to fill it with zukoh incense powder. The longer wooden piece is called netsuke: it allows you to hang the container on your belt so that you can take it with you wherever you go without losing it. When you want, remove the small cap on the side and take the amount of powder you need by tapping it. Rub the palms of your hands with zukoh or sprinkle it delicately on your wrists, behind your ears or on your clothes. Then enjoy the refined scent of this quality incense.
In the tradition of calligraphy, a purification ritual is performed with zukoh incense before copying sutras.
